Charlesite, a rare hydrated aluminum sulfate, is an interesting mineral for collectors. Its crystals are usually rather small and typically less than 1cm long. It has a light to bright yellow color and a nice luster and almost no cut stones exist!
I've acquired a small parcel of rough from N'Chwaning, South Africa to cut stones from 0.5ct. to 6ct.+ stones.
